Chipeta Processing LLC

Overview

WES owns a 51% managing member interest in Chipeta Processing LLC (“Chipeta”), and associated midstream assets. Anadarko owns 24% of Chipeta and Ute Energy Midstream Holdings, LLC (“Ute Energy”) owns the remaining 25%. Chipeta was formed effective June 1, 2008 and provides refrigeration and cryogenic processing services for production from the Natural Buttes Gathering System, which is 100% owned by Anadarko, and from the Three Rivers Gathering System.

The natural gas liquids (“NGL”) line is a 17-mile 6 and 8-inch pipeline connecting Chipeta to Enterprise’s Mid-America Pipeline and is a separate asset from the plant. It is  also connected to the QEPFS Stagecoach and Iron Horse Processing Plants. It was placed into service in June 2008.

Chipeta and the NGL Pipeline are located in the Rocky Mountain region, in the Uinta Basin in Northeastern Utah (Uintah County, Utah). These recently constructed assets service Anadarko and third-party production.
